Ideas from
the Work.

PMO leadership · 3-minute read

2½ good reasons. 2 bad ones.

A PMO should help an organization do work it cannot yet do well on its own. That can mean leading the unusual, making repeatable work easier, or providing shared capacity. It should not exist to preserve yesterday’s process or cover for decisions that others will not make.

The point is what changes in the work.

If you are questioning the purpose of a PMO or working through a complicated change, I would welcome a conversation about what your organization needs now.
